FOR ESTABLISHED E-COMMERCE BRANDS

Your Shopify store records the sale. Meta and Google may never see it.

And almost nobody checks how big the gap is.

That means you're paying full price for partial results: CPAs creep up, retargeting gets worse, and budget gets pulled from campaigns that were actually working.

Server-side infrastructure sends the ad platforms a complete, consented, deduplicated record of what actually happened — from your own domain, in your own account. The bidding models then learn from that truth instead of from whatever survived the browser.

No creative changes. No budget changes. Better results.

Published results from the infrastructure we deploy

Your ads look fine. Your tracking is quietly broken.

When browser restrictions and consent configuration strip out conversions, Meta and Google optimize on a partial picture.

Best buyers go invisible

Ad blockers and consent banners erase purchases before they ever reach Meta or Google.

Platforms optimize incomplete data

If Shopify recorded more orders last week than Meta did, the platform is optimising against the smaller number. That gap is measurable. It's just rarely measured.

Teams keep fixing the wrong thing

New creatives. New budgets. New agency conversations. But the real problem sits underneath it all.

The result: higher CPAs, weaker retargeting, and budget decisions made on distorted data.

The Solution

The fix isn't a new agency. It's better infrastructure.

We rebuild the data flow from Shopify into Meta, Google, and your marketing stack using server-side tracking - so more of your real conversions reach the platforms reliably, within consent rules.

Signal Audit

We map where purchases, carts, and checkout events are breaking before they reach your ad platforms.

Signal Rebuild

We rebuild tracking through server-side infrastructure - first-party data flow, Meta CAPI, Google Enhanced Conversions - so more of your real conversions arrive reliably.

Ongoing Protection

Ad platforms update requirements. Shopify changes checkout behaviour. Browser rules tighten. We monitor and adapt the infrastructure continuously so your signal stays clean.

Quick Scan

Find out if your tracking deserves a closer look.

Our preliminary Signal Scan checks what's visible from your public storefront - tracking behaviour, consent configuration, and obvious gaps in how events fire.

What we check:

  • Meta and Google pixel behaviour

  • Core storefront events (product view, add to cart, checkout)

  • Duplicate or suspicious browser events

  • Consent configuration

  • Server-side indicators

  • Areas requiring deeper verification

The scan is preliminary. Full validation requires access to your accounts.

Case Studies

What better measurement actually produces.

These are published results from brands that deployed the same server-side infrastructure Avinian builds.

Technical depth.

Human communication.

Avinian is Chris and Kat.

Chris builds the measurement infrastructure - server-side tracking, CAPI, event validation, and the technical architecture that makes your data reliable. Chris has built server-side infrastructure for brands with seven- and eight-figure ad budgets.

Kat leads client communication, coordination, and the commercial relationship - making sure you always understand what's happening and why it matters. Kat has built and run client businesses of her own - she brings the same accountability to yours.

We work with a small number of established Shopify brands. Remote-first team serving US and European e-commerce brands.

Not yet

Ad spend below $10,000/month

No active Meta or Google Ads campaigns

You need a full-service media buying agency

You’re looking for the cheapest pixel installation

If this isn't the right fit, we're happy to point you somewhere useful.

Common Questions

What is included in the Signal Scan?

The Signal Scan is a preliminary review of what's visible from your public storefront - no account access required. We check how your Meta and Google (or TikTok and Pinterest) pixels are firing, whether core events (product view, add to cart, checkout, purchase) are reaching the platforms, whether your consent configuration is contributing to data loss, and whether there are indicators of server-side infrastructure already in place. The scan identifies likely gaps and tells you honestly whether a full audit would be warranted. If there's no meaningful issue, we'll tell you that too.

What does the $850 Signal Audit include?

The full Signal Audit requires read access to your ad accounts and Shopify store. We review your complete tracking architecture - browser-side and server-side - validate event quality, check for deduplication, assess consent signal handling, and map exactly where conversion data is breaking before it reaches Meta or Google. You receive a structured written report documenting every gap found and our recommended fix for each, plus a 60-minute recorded review call where we walk through the findings and answer your team's questions.

How is this different from just using Shopify's built-in tracking?

Shopify's native integrations (the Meta app, the Google & YouTube app) send basic conversion data through browser-side pixels. The problem is that browser-side tracking fails silently in several common scenarios: Safari restricts cookie lifespans, ad blockers block pixel requests, Shopify's checkout runs inside a sandboxed iframe that limits what client-side code can access, and users who pay with Shop Pay complete checkout on a separate domain entirely. Server-side tracking routes purchase data directly from Shopify's backend to your ad platforms, bypassing those browser restrictions entirely. It's not a replacement for native integrations - it's the infrastructure that ensures your real conversions actually arrive.

What technology do you use?

We build on Addingwell's server-side infrastructure, combined with Google Tag Manager server-side containers, Meta Conversions API (CAPI), Google Enhanced Conversions, and Shopify's Customer Events API. This stack routes conversion data from your Shopify store directly to your ad platforms via first-party server connections, bypassing the browser restrictions and consent limitations that cause client-side tracking to fail. Addingwell is a specialist server-side platform used by brands including Yves Rocher, myBlend, and Decathlon Travel. For stores with custom event requirements or specific integration needs, we configure the stack around your setup.

Do I need to give you admin access to my store?

The free Signal Scan requires no account access - it's based entirely on what's publicly visible from your storefront. The full Signal Audit requires read-level access to your Shopify store and your Meta and Google Ads accounts. We use this access to review event quality and data flow - we don't make changes to your accounts without your explicit approval, and we can work within a scoped access level if your team prefers.

How long does the setup take?

The Signal Audit is typically completed within 5-7 business days of receiving account access. Implementation of the full server-side infrastructure takes 2-4 weeks depending on your store's complexity, the number of ad platforms in scope, and any custom event requirements. We work around your team's availability and do not require a development sprint or significant internal resource from your side.

Is this only for Shopify stores?

Our core focus is Shopify - it's the platform where we have the deepest experience and where the checkout sandbox and pixel limitations create the most consistent, significant tracking gaps. That said, we assess other e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Magento, custom stacks) on a case-by-case basis, particularly where a brand is running serious paid media budgets and the infrastructure gap is clear. If you're not on Shopify, get in touch and we'll tell you honestly whether we can help.

What if you don't find a significant gap?

We'll tell you. If the Signal Scan or Signal Audit reveals that your tracking is already solid - server-side infrastructure in place, events firing reliably, deduplication working, consent handled correctly - we'll document that and let you know there's nothing material to fix. We'd rather lose a $850 audit than build a commercial relationship on a problem that doesn't exist.

How does the retainer work after the initial audit?

The retainer (Avinian Measurement Assurance) is an ongoing engagement that begins after implementation. We monitor your tracking infrastructure continuously - when Shopify updates change event behaviour, when Meta pushes new CAPI requirements, when browsers tighten restrictions - and we maintain the setup so it keeps working without requiring your team's attention. You receive a monthly measurement health report and direct access to us when something breaks or needs investigating. Retainer pricing is scoped to your store and infrastructure.

What results can I expect?

We can't guarantee specific revenue or ROAS outcomes - those depend on your creative, your offer, your audiences, and many variables we don't control. What we can guarantee is that your ad platforms will receive a more complete and accurate picture of your real conversions. Published results from brands using this infrastructure include a 26% reduction in prospecting CPA (Yves Rocher), a 152% increase in Google Ads orders (myBlend), and a 50% improvement in ROAS (Decathlon Travel). These reflect the impact of better signal on platform optimization - the same mechanism we implement.
